JOB DESCRIPTION:

This solar PV EPC is rapidly expanding across South Africa and internationally! A company with solid financial backing and a solid project pipeline needs a Senior O&M Technician!

If you have O&M experience within the renewable energy sector, and a wireman’s license, this opportunity is not to be missed!

Minimum requirements:

Electrical qualification and wireman’s license
2 – 3 years Operations & Maintenance experience within the renewable energy sector
Ability to lead a team of junior technicians
Familiar with Hwawei, SMA inverter technologies
Experience with monitoring software – Meteocontrol
Solid experience in data analysis on plant outputs
Strong problem solving abilities and a solutions driven mindset
Ability to overcome site challenges while working in remote locations
Must be open to extensive travel within South Africa and African countries
