SUMMARY:
Senior Production Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Duties

· Develop, implement and maintain the financial systems of the organisation
· Create budgets for new and recommissioned TV productions
· Provide financial reports to production executives and broadcasters
· Ensure that the production adheres to relevant tax laws and industry regulations
· Prepare all aspects of the operating budget and annual financial statements
· Manage internal controls and establish and maintain a risk management system
· Manage and process payroll
· Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, crew and other parties involved in the production
· Analyse production costs and identify areas where costs can be reduced or efficiencies improved
· Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them

· Manage staff and assist the managing director and executive producer with company-related matters
