Senior Project Lead Refrigeration Technician (Trade Tested + Gas Card)

They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Project Lead Refrigeration Technician to join their team. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for managing and leading refrigeration projects from start to finish, while overseeing a team of skilled technicians.

POSITION INFO:
As a Senior Project Lead Refrigeration Technician, you will be expected to take charge of the complete project lifecycle, from installation to final sign-off. You will work independently with minimal supervision and ensure high standards of work, safety, and quality throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage 4-6 technicians per project, ensuring smooth operation and high productivity.
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and final sign-off of refrigeration systems, including supermarkets’ LT & MT racks.
• Manage plant room installations and related electrical work.
• Plan and lead complete supermarket refrigeration installations.
• Diagnose and resolve refrigeration system malfunctions.
• Conduct gas COC, final programming, alarm activation, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Provide troubleshooting and maintenance for cold/freezer rooms and refrigeration systems.
• Foster a proactive work environment focused on problem-solving and minimizing callbacks.

• Trade Tested – Red Ticket & Gas Card (essential)
• A minimum of 15-20 years’ experience as a Technician in an HVAC or Refrigeration environment.
