Senior Test Engineer for a leading tech company in Edinburgh (remote in the UK).
This highly (and impressively!) accredited and award-winning company work in the cyber security space, protecting their clients from potential cyber-attacks and breaches, monitoring, containing and reporting on attempted breaches often before their clients even have their first cup of coffee in the morning!
You'll be working in a highly technical environment as the company's first Test Engineer with a focus on automation testing, developing this from scratch. You'll have the freedom to develop the testing function as you see fit, researching the best tools for the job and creating a testing strategy that focuses on increasing product quality and test coverage. There are few companies around that are able to offer this much genuine autonomy and trust, so it's a rare opportunity!
Long-term, the company would like to develop the testing function, and would be keen for you to move into a Lead Test Engineer position - so there is plenty room for growth both in terms of career progression as well as technically!
You'll have most of the following skills/experience:
**Test automation experience
**Develop test strategy, create test plans and test cases
**Develop documentation and create reports
**Exploratory testing
The company can offer up to £55,000 (and can be flexible above this potentially), with a comprehensive benefits package that includes private healthcare, unlimited holidays and flexible working. Ideally you will be local/able to commute to the Edinburgh office on occasion (they are moving to a new office next month near Edinburgh Park), but the company can also offer 100% remote working.
