Masa Outsourcing is currently looking for a Senior Workshop Manager to oversee the operations, staff, and productivity of a workshop, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and meets quality standards

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Manage the maintenance, repair, and service of machinery, vehicles, or equipment (depending on industry).
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in the workshop.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and are maintained regularly.
• Supervise and manage workshop staff, including technicians, mechanics, and support personnel.
• Develop staff through training, mentoring, and performance appraisals.
• Manage scheduling, workload distribution, and staff availability to meet project deadlines.
• Foster a positive and productive working environment.
• Ensure that all work carried out meets the company's quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality control processes to identify and address inefficiencies.
• Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety protocols.
• Manage the workshop budget, ensuring that expenditures are controlled and that the workshop operates within financial targets.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts, materials, and consumables, and ensure procurement processes are timely and cost-effective.
• Liaise with customers to discuss repair and service needs, timelines, and costs.
• Provide regular updates to customers regarding the progress of work.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality service within the agreed timeframe.
• Plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure that all jobs are completed within deadlines.
• Ensure that high-priority or urgent jobs are completed promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including job cards, invoices, and reports.
• Generate regular reports for senior management on workshop performance, including financial reports, efficiency metrics, and staff performance.
• Qualifications:
  Trade test certificate-related field.
  5 to 10 years’ experience in a workshop or similar environment.
  Relevant industry certifications
  Proven experience in a similar senior workshop or production management role.
  Strong technical knowledge of machinery or vehicles (depending on the specific industry).
  Leadership and team management skills.
