Are you an experienced leader in the commercial vehicle service space? Our client, a respected name in the South African motor industry, is seeking a Commercial Automotive Service Manager to oversee their busy service department. This is a senior-level opportunity ideal for someone who thrives on driving performance, managing high-volume operations, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

? Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the service department for commercial vehicles (trucks, fleet, etc.)

• Set departmental goals aligned with business targets and OEM standards

• Ensure smooth workflow between service advisors, technicians, and parts department

• Maintain strong relationships with fleet clients and key accounts

• Monitor productivity, profitability, and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index)

• Handle warranty submissions, job card reviews, and cost control

• Recruit, train, and mentor service staff

? Requirements:

• Matric + relevant post-matric qualification (technical or management preferred)

• 5+ years’ experience in a service manager role within a commercial vehicle dealership

• Strong knowledge of OEM standards and dealership operating systems 

• Proven track record in managing large teams and achieving service targets

• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and customer handling skills

• Valid driver’s license and clear criminal history
