Service Technician

SUMMARY:
This is an opportunity to work on a large project portfolio in the FMCG industry installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing a variety of machines. If you have extensive experience in the packaging industry as a Millwright and you can work independently, then this is the opportunity for you!

POSITION INFO:

• Fault finding and repairs on packaging equipment
• Installation and commissioning of machines at customer premises
• Provide ongoing maintenance and customer support
• Rebuilding and servicing of machinery, including attending to breakdowns
• Ensure safety standards are upheld
• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support
• Coordinate project management of work orders and customer support tasks to ensure timely delivery
• Train customers on machine operation and perform quality assessments
• Oversee quality control and assurance
• Handle administrative duties related to service task

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine building and production machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Preferred experience in the liquid packaging industry (e.g., fillers, unscramblers, cappers, etc.)
• Strong electrical and pneumatic fault-finding skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally

• Qualified Millwright
• Valid Code B driver’s license
