SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Millwright to join our dynamic team! This exciting contract-based opportunity offers the chance to work with a diverse range of clients across Gauteng. As a Millwright, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing conveyor systems, conducting thorough inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring everything operates at peak performance. POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
Perform regular maintenance on conveyors to minimize the risk of breakdowns
Identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues efficiently
Replace or repair damaged components such as bearings, belts, rollers, and sensors
Ensure proper conveyor belt alignment and tracking
Calibrate scales to ensure accurate operation
Align sensors to maintain optimal system performance
Adhere to safety standards and regulations during all maintenance and installation work
Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements
Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory
Generate comprehensive reports on maintenance and repair activities

Skills & Experience:
At least 3 years of proven experience as a Millwright after qualification
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical circuits
Proficient in reading technical manuals and interpreting technical drawings
Excellent troubleshooting skills with a keen eye for detail
Relevant technical certification or completed apprenticeship
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills

Minimum requirements
Matric
Millwright Trade Test

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
