SUMMARY:
Do you have experience as an Engineer working in high-pressure, high pace external sales roles? Work for a market-leading company in the Vacuum Pump industry working in all sectors of the market (petrochemical, health, food processing, beverage, automotive, plastics, paper, wood, etc.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Field service on vacuum pumps and blowers at the customer site and in the workshop.
Building of skid-mounted systems that support the product range.
Must proficiently communicate with customers, verbally and via email, on a daily basis
Repair vacuum pumps
Build skids/systems precisely
Understand mechanical drawings
Install and repair pumps on site
Assist technicians with the diagnosis of the mechanical problems
The candidate must be able to liaise with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Sales Function: Responsible for tracking previous services completed and getting customers to service again
Will be required to do reports for management and other administrative duties
Give accurate and constant feedback to management
Deal with unhappy customers professionally
Build good relationships with existing and new customers
May be required to travel in Africa. Must have a passport

Skills & Experience:
At least 3 years of experience on rotating equipment such as compressors
First Language Afrikaans is preferable as many of our customers prefer to communicate in Afrikaans.

Qualification:
N5/N6 in Electrical or electronics
Trade Test as Millwright is ADVANTAGE
Own Car
