Shift Supervisor

SUMMARY:
MASA Outsourcing is currently looking for a Shift Supervisor who will oversee and manage the operations of a designated shift within the FMCG/Manufacturing environment, ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and compliance with company standards.  MUST have 5 years’ experience in a FMCG environment.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements
5 years of experience in an FMCG/Manufacturing environment.
Proven managerial experience in leading teams.
Matric/Grade 12 (relevant post-matric qualification in management or production advantageous).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and production-related software.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Resilient, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities
5 years of experience in an FMCG/Manufacturing environment.
Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the assigned shift.
Ensure the effective deployment of staff to meet production targets.
Monitor workflow, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations.
Manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
Address performance concerns and ensure adherence to company policies.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Enforce workplace health and safety protocols in line with company and legal standards.
Conduct safety audits, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures.
Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
Ensure machinery and equipment are used effectively and maintained.
Manage resource allocation to minimize downtime.
Ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
Work closely with quality control teams to identify and address non-conformities.
Prepare and submit shift performance reports.
Maintain accurate records of production, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively with senior management regarding shift operations.
