SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a candidate with Commercial and Operational Chartering breakbulk experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

They are offering a competitive package based on level of skill and experience.  A hybrid position where you can be based either in Durban or Johannesburg. All travelling expenses will be covered. One week in every month is reserved for travel. You will be responsible for ship operations, voyage chartering, laytime statements and FD&D claims. Your focus will be the chartering of vessels for minerals, bulk ores, metal alloys and chemicals to the industrial and mining sectors.

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Maritime Shipping and Chartering essential
  • Knowledge of the shipping industry and freight forwarding essential
  • Knowledge of bulk and breakbulk logistics essential
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the field.
