Shop Assistant (Golf)

An exciting career opportunity is available at Fancourt Country Club for a Shop Assistant in our Pro Shop.
 
The Shop Assistant will be responsible for performing general Pro Shop duties – merchandising, cleaning, stock control, and assisting customers in general. This will require the candidate to be able to multitask and be of general assistance to the Pro Shop manager. This role also requires basic admin tasks to be completed accurately and timeously.
 
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, and will be reliable, honest and organised. We are looking for someone with a minimum of Grade 12, or equivalent, with 6 months’ experience in a retail & sales environment. Computer literacy on MS Office suite and working knowledge of a stock control or point of sale system will be an advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of golf as we believe this will add to our customer experience if the person assisting them understands their needs.
 
Adverse working conditions:

• Must be prepared to work weekends & Public holidays;
