Salary: R15 000-R 21 000 Com+Ben

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Homeware Sales Consultant for our Durban KwaZulu Natal Showroom. This role is integral to promoting and selling our premium retail products, ensuring customers receive exceptional service aligned with our branding standards. The position requires physical capability due to the handling of heavy rugs and furniture.

Main Purpose of the Job

The primary purpose of this role is to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored homeware solutions. The role demands adherence to established procedures while maintaining our high standards of customer interaction and showroom presentation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and nurture productive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met with suitable homeware solutions.
• Drive sales by actively promoting products, understanding customer preferences, and exceeding sales targets.
• Maintain high standards of showroom presentation, ensuring products are displayed according to branding guidelines.
• Manage the ordering of additional products for the showroom to ensure a consistent and updated product range.
• Assist fellow sales consultants in their tasks, contributing to a cohesive team environment.
• Support and facilitate the payment process, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification (Matric).
• At least 3 years of sales experience in a retail environment, particularly in Luxury Homeware or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a focus on providing outstanding service.
• Sales-driven and self-motivated, with a strong ability to close sales.
• General business acumen with knowledge of the homeware industry is considered advantageous.
• The position involves physical tasks, including handling heavy rugs and furniture.
