POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric qualification.
• Valid Code 14 License and PDP.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Shunter or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and yard operations.

• Operate shunt trucks to move trailers and containers safely within the yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times during operations.
• Communicate effectively with yard personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers and containers.
• Report any issues, damages, or maintenance needs related to trailers and containers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
