Site Agent Roads/Rehabilitation

SUMMARY:
Our client, a reputable construction company, is in urgent need of a highly experienced, motivated, and dedicated Roads and Rehabilitation Site Agent to join their team on-site in KZN. The successful candidate will be crucial in overseeing various components of the construction project, reporting directly to senior management / Contracts Manager. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience as a Site Agent in Road and Earthworks, particularly in road rehabilitation. This role involves close collaboration with clients, professional teams, subcontractors, and internal staff to ensure the project progresses smoothly and all objectives are achieved.

Job Description:

• Collaborates with client site personnel to agree on quantities, schedules, and other essential details.
• Establishes and maintains production targets while adhering to set costs and budgets.
• Develops the site program regarding allowable sets and ensures the maintenance of work sequences and construction schedules.
• Coordinates and oversees site staff activities, agreeing on quality and safety standards with the team and monitoring their implementation.
• Conducts daily site costing and reviews the allowable program with the foreman to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Submits precise monthly revenue certificates and cost estimates, and produces the monthly CES.
• Monitors and manages material requisitions within budget constraints and cash flow parameters.

• Diploma or Graduate, or may have progressed through the ranks
• A minimum of 5 years of experience
