SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a Site Expeditor/Site Support person to assist with execution of Turnkey Site Support projects.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Execute turnkey site installation projects in the Power sector by leading site teams including, sub-contractors, quality, reporting to the Project Manager on a daily basis.
  • Updating and Reporting progress on Primavera
  • Actively managing changes, variations and amendments to contract scope.
  • Ensuring safety compliance on project sites as company’s appointed 16.2
  • Managing subcontractors and their activities to complete projects safely, on time and to specification.
  • Attending client and site project progress meetings and reporting progress on status and risks to management.
  • Managing contract and communicating with customers in line with conditions under which the contract is established
  • Tracking and complete handover of supplier documentation, as-built, manuals and data books on throughout the contract.
  • Closing projects on completion.
  • Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley
Qualifications:
  • BSc / BEng/ BTech/ NDip in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Project Management Professional Certification would be an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large site installation projects.
  • Understanding of project management processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of NEC and/or FIDIC conditions of contract would be an advantage
  • Process plant experience would be required
  • Primavera & MS Projects Experience
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills a must.
  • Experience in execution projects with Eskom
  • Experience in commissioning projects with Eskom
