SKIN CARE THERAPIST - must be able to travel between branches

TYGERVALLEY - Bellville, Western Cape (ZA)

START: 01 November 2024

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Monday - Friday (09:00 - 18:00)
• Saturday (09:00 - 17:00)
• Sunday & PH's (09:00 - 14:00)
• 7x Days off per month including 2x Saturday & 2x Sundays + 3x weekdays

REPORT TO: Owner

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS

• R8,500 Basic per month
• Service Commission
• Retail Commission
• Incentives (at management discretion)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen only 
2. Based in the Northern Suburbs 
3. Reliable transport as you will be required to travel between our various branches
4. CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation
5. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology / Aesthetician
6. BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have!)
7. Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of a skin care professional
8. Confident skin care and ingredients knowledge

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least TWO years post-graduation experience (not including work integrated learning / experiential learning) within the Spa/Beauty or Aesthetics industries
2. Senior Therapist / Lead therapist experience is a bonus
3. Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable
4. high-end salon or similar day spa environment
5. Experience working with active ingredients

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident and skilled in all standard BEAUTY & SKIN CARE services including Facials, Beautifying, Waxing and grooming
2. Confident performing a detailed skin analysis and prescribe relevant home care
3. Skin penetrating treatments including micro needling 
4. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
5. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision

BONUS SKILLS:

• Lash Lifting or Lash Enhancements
• Microblading 
• Permanent Make-up
