SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Snr Metallurgist (Quality Engineer) in Uitenhage.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Engineering.
May consider equivalent education and experience in a related field (metallurgy / heat treat).
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in carburizing heat treat, including knowledge of annealing, normalizing, induction heat treat, etc.
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a metallurgical lab and/or heat treat department.
Managerial experience of min 3 years managing staff
Training and Supervision of Metallurgical Lab Technicians.
Metallurgical Lab support for manufacturing in the areas of heat treat, welding, machining, and assembly, PPAP, etc.
