Snr Payroll Officer/Admin (VIP Premier)-Atlantis- R18, 000 -R26, 000 per month

 

Food Processing Plant seeks an experience Payroll Administrator, to Assist the HR manager and team with the effective running of the department by fulfilling daily HR and full Payroll functions. We are not looking for a data capture person, but rather someone who can do the full A-Z of payroll for weekly and monthly paid staff.

 

You will manage electronic timekeeping systems and pull timesheets, daily office attendance and related admin i.e., leave applications etc., assisting with the processing/calculating of weekly payable hours and deductions for 4 payrolls consisting of approx. 450 employees, ensure payslips are printed and issued, pull weekly and monthly payroll reports and send to relevant parties, and calculate overtime for monthly salaries.

 

You will capture monthly payroll leave schedules and any other related admin, assist in answering employee’s questions regarding payroll-related matters once an investigation is done regarding the discrepancy, maintain employee records as well as maintaining and updating payroll records, and do the processing of new employees, promotions and terminations and provide administrative assistance to the accounts department.

 

You will assist in capturing, screening and monitoring all COVID:19 cases and audits (BEE, EE, Seta and DoL) and do internal audits

 

Must be able to complete UI-19s and maternity documents accurately. Must know BCEA and LRA and VIP Premier Payroll and ESS, Viper and/or T&A. Monthly EMP201.

 

We are looking for someone who can run the payroll function independently, and monitor/chase any discrepancies in figures or deadlines not met w.r.t. submission of payroll information. You will need experience in experience with the weekly payroll runs, recon the system/figures w.r.t salaries, union deductions, pension funds, UIF contributions, etc.

 

Ideally, you should be from an FMCG, Manufacturing or Food Processing Plant environment.

 

Diploma and or Degree in Business Administration or HR, proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, strong in Word and Excel. VIP Premier Payroll is a must.
