Software Developer ( PHP )

A rapidly growing Scottish Tech Organisation who develop solutions for the Healthcare sector are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join their agile team to help take their products to the next level - Remote Working offer.

The company have been operating successfully now for over five years and have developed several products that are really well established within the UK. They have really ambitious plans for the next few years, which involve growing their development team, their range of products and their reputation.

They've recently brought on a really experienced CTO that's already hit the ground running and are now looking to bolster their ranks with skilled Developers. In the short-term they are looking for an experienced PHP Developer (and a front-end Dev too), with plenty more roles to follow over the next few months.

In this role you'll be given a lot of autonomy, it's not going to be a position where you're given a spec and be told to follow. You'll be expected to really familiarise yourself with the products, and then suggest and implement technologies and best practices that you think will really help improve, not to mention the countless new features to add. It will be a big technical challenge, but something that is guaranteed to keep you occupied and interested.

You'll ideally have most of the following;
** Strong PHP Skills;
** Knowledge of a PHP framework; Ideally Laravel.
** Good database skills; MySQL, MongoDB or Redis
** Knowledge of AWS

The following is highly desirable
** An interest in Data
** Previous experience working on SaaS Based Products
** Experience using DevOps tools

The company are based in central Glasgow, but this role can be done largely from home - you'd be expected in the office for the occasional technical meeting, but that's it, and they can also offer flexible working hours too.

In return the company can offer a salary of £35k to £60k for this role, depending on ability and experience.
