Software Developer ( Python )

A growing E-Commerce business based in Glasgow are looking for a skilled Software Developer, with ideally good experience using Python to join their small Agile team.

They are a growing online retail and E-Commerce business, based out of Glasgow that ship products worldwide. They have employees across Glasgow, London and China and with their sustained growth over the last few years, are looking to build-out their Engineering function based in Glasgow.

The business is run by a group of young and ambitious entrepreneurs, that are really going places. Their realistic aim is to become the industry leader in their market in the next 10 years - they've already brought on a very experienced hands on CTO to help lead this technical vision and are now looking to add a few extra Developers to his team.

The company are currently developing a brand-new Software Platform that will be crucial to the business, and these roles will be directly tasked in this project. It's all greenfield and you'll be getting involved in all stages of its development. They are looking for Developers that are able to suggest ideas, functions and technologies that will really help bring this to life.

The company have selected a really modern tech stack, as they want to make the new platform is slick and efficient as possible - the platform will be used worldwide with a lot of traffic so they are keen to make sure it can meet the demands of this. The tech stack they have selected for this is; ReactJS, Python, Azure, AzureDevOps, Microservices and MongoDB - with a few other bits and bobs! They have openings for Back-end, Front-End and Full-Stack Developers here - with the opportunity to skill up in areas.

The ideal candidate will have;
** At least a couple years of commercial experience with Python (ideally using Flask or Django).
** Good experience using Databases
** Solid Communication Skills

The following is highly desirable;
** Microservices
** Docker
** Azure or AWS
** ReactJS

The company are based on the West-Side of Glasgow, right next to a Subway station and have parking available on site. They are able to offer hybrid working where you will spend about 50% of your time in the office and 50% at home.

In return the company are offering a salary up to £50k + benefits and the opportunity to work on an a genuinely interesting greenfield product.
