What you’ll be doing:
Navigatin' the Testing Waters: Set sail on a voyage of test analysis, planning, and execution to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards. Chart your course through various testing procedures and ensure our solutions are shipshape and Bristol fashion.
Craftin' the Perfect Test Data: Prepare and perfect data sets for testing logic, error handling, and user workflows. Like a true alchemist of code, you'll concoct the ideal conditions to test our software's might.
Identifying and Tracking Defects: Use your eagle eyes to spot, replicate, and track defects. Once ye find a bug, mark it and work with the crew to fix it, ensuring smooth sailing for our software.
Building and Documenting Client Releases: Be a key player in building, creating, and documenting client releases. Your expertise will help ensure every release is as polished as a pirate's finest treasure.
Interpreting the Maps (Requirements): Decipher requirements documents, system architecture, and design with the skill of a seasoned navigator. Understand the lay of the land and how our software fits into it.
Collaboratin' in Agile Waters: Work closely with your fellow shipmates in a collaborative Agile (Scrum) environment. Communicate openly, share insights, and ensure everyone is rowing in the same direction.
Manipulatin' SQL Databases: Query and manipulate SQL databases with the finesse of a master hacker, ensuring that our data sails smoothly and without a hitch.
Maintaining Test Environments: Keep our test and development environments in tip-top shape, ready for any new challenges that come our way.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3-year IT-related degree or diploma.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in testing complex software systems.
Experience in designing and creating test cases.
Experience in creating and maintaining testing environments.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of Quality Analysis in Scrum.
Web testing and automation experience are advantageous.
SQL skills advantageous
