POSITION INFO:

SPA  & WELLNES MANAGER 

POTCHEFSTROOM - North-West Province (ZA)

Starting Date: A.S.A.P / 01 November 

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday (including public holidays & major holidays)
• 09:00 - 17:00
• 45 hours per week standard

REPORTS TO: General Manager

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• Market Related Basic Salary 
• Turnover incentives (excellent incentive structure - ability to quadruple basic income)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable
2. Confident in communicating with guests, employees and managers of other departments 
3. Managerial experience of a high-end salon or day spa is essential
4. Certification from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management
5. Computer literate with booking systems, emails and reports
6. Must be based within Potch OR willing to relocate (at your own expense) 
7. Own, reliable transport
8. At least 10+ years spa industry experience of which at least 5+ Managerial experience

NICE TO HAVE:

1. City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP or similar accredited education
2. BONUS - Dermal Aesthetic OR Advanced Somatology Diploma
3. Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
4. Cruise Ship employment experience - highly beneficial
5. Knowledge of spa & salon procedures and ability to perform them where operationally required
6. International employment experience (land/sea)

2. lead and develop employees and services
3. focus attention on guest needs - maintain rapport with guests
4. promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa
5. perform job functions with minimal supervision
6. Achieve and maintain targets
7. Demonstrated comprehension of revenue and budgets
8. Basic HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, assessments and evaluations
9. Attend management meetings with other departments
10. Facilitate training and development of staff
11. Maintain profitability
