SPA MANAGER (Hotel)

CAPE TOWN CENTRAL, Cape Town - Western Cape (ZA)

Starting Date: A.S.A.P

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday
• 08:00am - 20:00 (standard 8-hour shift applies)
• Shifts rotate

REPORTS TO: Owner

REMUNERATION & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• Market Related Basic Salary - experience based
• R20,000+ p/m
• Turnover incentives

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Beautifully groomed & professionally presentable
2. Confident in English language (Speak, Read & Write) 
3. Managerial experience of a high-end salon or day spa is essential
4. Certification from a recognized Training facility with qualifications in either Spa / Beauty / Cosmetology / Spa Management
5. Computer literate with booking systems, emails and reports

NICE TO HAVE:

1. City & Guilds / ITEC / CIDESCO / CIBTAC / SAAHSP
2. Knowledge of and ability to sell spa products
3. Cruise Ship employment experience - highly beneficial
4. Knowledge of spa & salon procedures and ability to perform them where operationally required
5. International employment experience (land/sea)

1. train employees on spa protocols and follow up on company brand trainings
2. lead and develop employees and services
3. focus attention on guest needs
4. promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Spa
5. perform job functions with minimal supervision
6. Achieve and maintain targets 
7. Basic HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, assessments and evaluations
8. Attend management meetings with other departments
9. Facilitate training and development of staff
10. Maintain profitability
