Spa Manager - Private Game Reserve (Live-in)

SPA MANAGER 

PRIVATE GAME RESERVE - Western Cape (South Africa)

START: A.S.A.P / 01 March 2025

REPORT TO: Spa Director / HR / GM

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday - Sunday including Public Holidays, Weekends etc. (Hospitality)
• SHIFTS rotate 
• 24x Days ON 
• 8x Days OFF (can leave the reserve for this break)

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R18,500 Basic per month before any benefits or commission (based on desired experience & skills)
• 10% Treatment Commission
• 10% - 15% Retail Commission

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. CIDESCO / ITEC accreditation
2. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology (2-year Diploma)
3. BONUS - Spa Management Diploma
4. Managerial experience in Spa / Day Spa or Cruise Ship
5. Expertly groomed and highly presentable
6. Computer confident including MS Office, Booking & Spa Management Software
7. Excellent command of English (speak & write) - we deal with primarily international guests
8. Organised, mature, confident and strong leadership qualities
9. Able to perform therapies when operationally required
10. Own car & valid driver license (we are remote)

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 5+ Years in Spa Therapy of which must be in a 5-star environment
2. 3+ Years in a Managerial role / 4+ Years in an Assistant Manager role 
3. Cruise Ship employment experience highly beneficial
4. Resort or Private Game Reserve / Lodge experience highly beneficial
5. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, administration, guest relations, recruitment, SOP, training and operations
