SPA RECEPTIONIST (Back-up Spa Therapist)

TOKAI, Cape Town South (SOUTHERN SUBURBS), Western Cape (ZA)

START: A.S.A.P / 01 April 2025

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Monday – Sunday
• SHIFTS: 06:00am - 15:00pm | 08:00 - 17:00 | 09:00 - 18:00 | 10:00 - 19:00 (Open / Close shifts)
• 1x Weekend off per month + days off in the week

REPORT TO: Spa Manager

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. DIPLOMA Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
2. Certificate of Higher Education in Front Office Administration - BONUS
3. Reliable transport to or within the Southern Suburbs
4. Beautifully groomed and looking the part of a 5-star therapist
5. Confident retailer
6. ESP experience required
7. Receptionist duties experienced

EXPERIENCE:

1. Day Spa experience within a Hotel or Resort or independent day spa
2. Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable
3. Spa Receptionist experience required
4. Able to perform spa therapies when operationally required

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident operating a very busy reception area
2. Able to work under pressure and deal with multiple points of communication simultaneously
3. Confident processing bookings, payments and perform administrative tasks
4. Confident in your lingo of the spa sector
5. Confident and skilled in all standard SPA, BEAUTY & SKIN CARE services to be performed when operationally required
6. Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly
7. Retail confident
8. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
9. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
10. Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world
