Sports Club Receptionist / Customer Liaison Administrator

SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about sport and have minimum 2 years experience as a receptionist and administrator working in a fast-paced environment?
 
The nature of this role does entail your flexibility to work weekends / holidays and an occasional evening if required for a function.  Own car required and best suited to an individual living in close proximity to Green Point.
 
Must love working with people, strong at coordinating and multi-tasking to be part of this vibrant team!

REQUIREMENTS
 

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and reservation systems.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced
• Professional appearance and personality, must be a people’s person
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.

• Extensive liaison with Club members
• Meet and greeting of club members, guests and visitors to provide professional assistance.
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls, directing them appropriately and taking messages when necessary.
• Handle bookings and reservations for club events.
• Provide accurate information regarding club facilities, membership, and upcoming events.
• Assist with administrative duties such as emails, filing, and record-keeping.
• Process payments and manage point-of-sale transactions as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Address member and guest enquiries and resolve any concerns promptly.
