Stock Administrator - CPT

SUMMARY:
National Industrial Fastening Company based in Wetton, Cape Town is looking for an experienced Stock Administrator to join their team - Jan 2025

POSITION INFO:

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS:

 Minimum of 3 Year stock controlling experience

• Must be Computer Literate
• Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills.
• Must be analytical, a quicker thinker and have attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to work under pressure.
• Must have the ability to forward plan, organize and prioritize.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and deliver meticulous work.
• Must be confident, hardworking, a team player and self-motivated.
• Must have Fastener knowledge.

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE

• Update stock buffer via Tempo.
• Run back-order reports for the warehouse at regular intervals.
• Process SCT (supply chain transfers) for items on back order from various warehouses.
• Receipting of all goods received by the receiving department.
• Follows up on SCT (supply chain transfers) invoices that has not been received and/or receipted yet.
• Release all customer back orders once goods have been receipted.
• Responsible for all picking slips that are problematic.
• Physical checking of stock on all items in problem and/or request
• Completing of stock discrepancy sheets.
• Complete inter-branch complaint forms
• Always ensure that stock on the shelves corresponds with the system.
• Ensure that SCT (supply chain transfers) is processed for all goods to be returned to another branch e.g. oversupply of stock.
