SUMMARY:
Stock Controller required to maintain accurate stock counts, record bin locations, and ensure correct labelling using barcoding software and hardware

POSITION INFO:
Qualification

• Relevant Certification or training in inventory management or a related field.

• Experience in a coatings / paints within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in stock control or inventory management.
• Proficiency in using QWIX barcoding software and hardware.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.

• Perform regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and accountability of inventory levels.
• Accurately record bin locations for all stock items to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory management.
• Ensure all stock items are correctly labelled using QWIX barcoding software and hardware to maintain organized and efficient inventory.
• Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to the relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment and stock control.
• Accurately input stock data into the inventory management system and maintain up-to-date records.
• Ensure that all stock items are in good condition and meet quality standards before being stored or dispatched.
• Work closely with other departments, such as procurement and warehouse teams, to coordinate stock control activities.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of all stock movements, counts, and labelling activities.
