Internship – Stock Controller Intern

A leading Multinational company invites applications from suitably qualified individuals, for an Internship program in the Health and Nutrition department

Criteria:

• Matric/Grade 12
• Be between the ages of 18-29
• Logistics/ Procurement /Supply Chain Management
• Must have no criminal record
• Willing to be placed in Cape Town – Maitland
• Chemistry qualification with knowledge of / experience in hazardous chemical handling will be an advantage

Responsibilities

-       The person will full time be committed to the management of laboratory inventory.

-       Ordering and receiving the consumables and chemicals, unpacking, labelling, and storage of those and following up on orders and invoices etc.

-       They will also be sourcing chemical COA’s, MSDS’s and follow up on MSDS trainings for staff that are using the chemicals.

Experience

-       Someone that has worked in any industry with any kind of inventory management software etc will be beneficial.

-       Knowledge of MS Suit in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

-       Any experience in industry with Lean management or Six sigma or 5S principles will also be beneficial.

-       Be interested to grow in this kind of job.

-       Have a passion for having things in order and for continuous improvement.

The program will run for a 12-month
