Our client, a diverse and expanding but small manufacturing company, seeks to employ a professional, Stocks/Stores Manager for a newly created position, based in Somerset West
This role is not a senior management role and would suit a candidate who has been in a supervisory level position, specifically dealing with small electrical components and currently resident in the Winelands/Helderberg region
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
- You must have Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in supervising/managing a store from receiving to dispatching of raw materials and completed goods for delivery.
- You will have managed a small team of staff within the stores, ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures, problem solving, reviewing improvements to current processes and providing excellent service to customers with regards to deliveries.
- You will have proven experience in investigating discrepancies, as well as providing reporting on non-conformances or quality of materials from suppliers.
- Solid proficiency on MS Office and Sage essential
- You will have had previous working experience in a fast paced and multi-faceted manufacturing environment
- You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
