SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Store Controller in the Automotive sector, Boksburg

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:
  • Literacy and numeracy
  • 5 years or more experience in stores environment
  • Computer literate
  • Forklift operators’ licence
  • Must be able to work overtime when required by management
  • Must be prepared to assist with any other task when required by management
  • Own transport
  • Must be able to lift 20kg parts
  • A customer service attitude
  • Strong personality and have loads of energy
  • Control admin assistant’s work
  • Ensure store is neat, tidy, under control and organised
  • Post matric study will be bonus
  • Well versed in using computers and office packages (Word, Excel etc.)
  • Must be able to communicate well
 
Responsibilities:
  • Parts replenishment – keep to minimum agreed levels
  • Parts receipt from suppliers and internal warehouses
  • Pack; pick and dispatch parts
  • Internal parts movement control
  • Stores control administration (Purchase Order Receipts; Parts Issues; Control Registers; Warehouse transfers and receipts)
  • House Keeping
  • Stock Counts
 
Initial 3-month contract with option to become permanent
Basic salary around R 17 000 per month – depending on experience
