Stores Assistant With Forklift Licence-Killarney Gardens- R8, 000 per month

A manufacturing company is seeking a Stores Assistant:

•             Moving of finished goods stock into location regularly to ensure walkways are kept clear

•             Moving finished goods from one location to another when necessary

•             Receiving & dispatching of all stocks.

•             Preparing, wrapping and ensuring pallets are ready for dispatch in the required manner.

•             Loading pallets onto trucks/ loading goods for customers

•             Ensure all goods are signed for before being loaded for either customer or courier

•             Receiving in of goods and offloading from trucks

•             Inspection of receiving in goods and informing supervisor of any non-conforming goods received.

•             Moving received-in goods into location

•             Assisting with 2nd Operations when required and complying with turnaround times for 2nd operation                     requirements to ensure maximised offline capacity

•             Receiving and storing all raw materials received (Sheets, material, packaging)

•             Report any discrepancies found in the extrusion or matting department.

•             Responsible for controlling extrusion/ matting stocks and their locations.

•             Assist with end of month stock take – Spot checks to be done regularly.

•             Head waste scrap to be weighed and packed into a cage weekly.

•             Remove waste bins weekly for waste collection.

•             Assist Stores Controller with stock movement.

•             Housekeeping of designated areas is essential.

•             Communicate verbally or in writing in fluent English

•             Do regular spot checks on locations for end of month stock take

•             Maintain good housekeeping

•             All movement of stock to be done with RF scanner

•             Carry out any reasonably requested duty as required by management

•             Work with all Company and legislative health and safety guidance and policies.

•             It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with all work instructions and procedures set out.
