Structural Technician / Junior Technologist (CT)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established Engineering Consulting Company who provides designs and solutions to the building services industry, requires the full-time services of Structural Technician who is experienced in CAD and REVIT drawing/modeling (steel structures), for a position based in Cape Town, to join their dynamic Structural Department early in 2025.
National Diploma Engineering (Structural) or BTech Engineering (Structural) with 2-4+ years' design experience in building services needed for exciting projects offered by this career opportunity in a fast-growing industry.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce concept, tender and steel structural engineering drawing for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centers, educational facilities, etc.
Interfacing with multi-disciplinary engineering team and other project stakeholders
Draughting, design and development support services to construction team and Structural Department Manager
Work office hours in northern suburbs of Cape Town

Desired Experience and Qualifications
National Diploma or BTech (Structural Engineering)
Revit Certification highly recommended / Draughting diploma advantageous
1- 2 years or more in Building Services 
2-4+ years' steel structural modeling (draughting) experience using CAD, Revit knowledge essential
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Package & Remuneration
Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
