Superintendent/ Consruction Manager

Sizwe Placements is currently looking for a Superintendent/Construction Manager based in Sasolburg

The ideal candidate should have the following:

• Petrochemical Experience – Preferably Sasol 1
• Piping / Welding & Mechanical
• Compling Cost Estimates and Manpower Proposals.

• Conducting Interviewes with new personell.
• Recruitment of Personell.
• Do resource planning per dicipline.
• Part of the SHE Commitee. Participate in the monthly HSE Committee Meeting

• Compiling/Review Methodstatements.
• Ordering and maintaining of plant and gear.
• Responsible for all Shutdown and Maintanance work in Sasolburg.
• Conducting Monthly Reports on all C-Contract projects.
• Helping with Safety Audits.
• Helping and Compiling of SHE files.
• Attend construction meetings, kick-off meetings, validations etc.
• Compiling/Review Risk Assessments and Hazard Identification.
• Evaluate the risk and hazards identified.
• Follow up on training of personell.
• Management representative / liaison with Clients
• Make sure persons are suitabily trained and competend in there task.
• To make sure dissipline is enforced at all times.
• Responsible for all Pipng/Mechanical dissiplines, Projects, Shutdowns, Maintanance and Breakdowns in the work area under your control. This includes the Safety, Integrity, Schedule and Cost of all Dissiplines
• Report of progress of Mechanical/Pipng progress in meetings.
• Conduct/Report in Safety, Health and Inviromental daily Meetings.
• Reporting PDA’s from the Client. (Potential deviation annalises)
• Facilatate all Safety Meetings every morning.
• Facilitate all Construction Meetings on a weekly basis
• Reporting progress meetings, Internal and with the Client.
• Assist with tenders
• Assist with incident investigations
• Responsible to ensure that Projects remain in the provided budgets
• Participate in HSE audits and assist with audits
• Liaise and report with the Divisional Operations Manager
