Our Montagu / Outeniqua Golf Services department is now accepting applications for a
Golf Operations Supervisor - someone who understands golf, has a positive service orientated attitude and a passion for this industry.
As a team leader, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding our member and guest golfing expectations, by ensuring the team on duty is fully trained and capable to ensure all players receive a world-class experience as expected of South Africa’s leading golf resort. You will be required to multi-task and perform various general golf duties, including welcoming members and guests, ensure all player requirements are met, staging of golf carts, allocation of caddies, etc.
You will be required to lead, manage, report on and train all golf operations staff, to deliver a world class golf customer experience on a daily basis.
We consider the following criteria as essential: a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent; at least 3 years’ relevant golf operations experience; must have a proven record of good people skills, and exceptional customer service.
The successful candidate will be physically fit to carry out all reasonable duties associated with this role, and will be able and willing to work additional hours, weekends and public holidays. This job will also require the successful candidate to work in all kinds of weather conditions.
