POSITION INFO:
Fancourt, South Africa’s premier golfing, leisure and lifestyle destination, is situated in George in the heart of the Garden Route. We are now recruiting for Supervisor: Housekeeping – someone with drive and passion for the industry and its people, and with the ability to maintain the Leading Hotel of the Worlds standards.
The position requires that the candidate has a minimum qualification of Grade 12 or equivalent coupled with at least 2 years’ experience as a Room Attendant in a 4*/5* environment. Supervisory experience in a Rooms Division and clerical experience will be an added advantage. Computer literacy on MS Office Suite, Opera and SAP will be an advantage.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Compile task sheets for attendants and houseman;
- Compile daily status reports;
- Quality checking of rooms, stores and designated areas;
- Assist with stock takes and identify discrepancies;
- Assist with staff training and performance management;
- Monitor casual costs, usage of amenities and expenses.
We are looking for candidates who have their own accommodation in George / surrounds, who are prepared to work weekends, Public holiday and shifts, and who are fit and able to carry out the normal responsibilities attached to this role.
