SUMMARY:
A client with a huge footprint in Africa is looking to expand its current DevOps team with an Intermediate DevOps resource.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of DevOps is about bridging the gap between Development and IT Operations and you will be responsible for deploying and supporting web applications, and Oracle and Postgres databases. Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience with SQL scripting
Deploying and managing Linux OS sytems
Test deployed applications
Troubleshoot config errors
Knowledge of Networking & DNS
Atlassian products – JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
DevOps and Agile practices
Development lifecycle from design to support
Ubuntu, NGINX, Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm
Version control with Git

Qualifications
Minimum 3 year related IT qualification
Linux certifications advantageous
