SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Textile Technician with expertise in setting up and maintaining knitting machines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of knitting stitches, machine programming, and quality control. This role requires troubleshooting skills, leadership in mechanical maintenance, and ensuring machines operate efficiently to produce high-quality net fabrics.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Experience:

National Senior Certificate (Matric).
5-8 years of relevant experience as a Textile Technician in a manufacturing environment.
Apprenticeship or Red Seal certification would be an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong technical understanding of knitting machines and fine-tuning adjustments.
Hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and decision-making abilities.
Ability to interpret knitting machine part catalogs and identify required spares.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to maintenance schedules.
