Job Description

Our client in the flavour industry has an opportunity for a skilled individual to hold the Senior Development Technologist role. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Development  of savoury flavours suitable for specific applications
• Development of product application formulations
• Compounding of samples
• Sourcing and evaluation of new raw materials
• Providing technical support to internal and external customers
• Conducting sensory panels on development projects
• Co-ordinate and run development trials with customers
• Maintain and compile technical documentation for products developed

Qualifications

• Matriculation
• Degree/B Tech in Food Technology or Equivalent

Skills

• 5+ years’ work in savoury product develop – compounding and formulation development
• Previous work experience on  savoury flavour development and application
• Must be a self-starter and take ownership of assigned projects
