Job Description

Our Pretoria based client has an exciting opportunity for the Financial Accountant position. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Understand and prepare Financial statements Consolidations
• Accurately reconcile GL accounts and bank accounts
• Assisting with preparation of year end Audit (June year- end)
• Preparation of monthly management Accounts
• Preparation of budgets
• Ensure Inter- company transactions are correct and up to date
• Prepare monthly VAT returns and ensure timely filing of these returns

Qualifications

• CA (SA) with completed articles

Skills

• Broad knowledge of accounting practices (IFRS)
• 3 years experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Axapta is an advantage
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
