SUMMARY:
TRADE TESTED FITTER AND TURNER

POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced TRADE TESTED FITTER AND TURNER for a well-established company, position based in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Valid driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.

Trade tested Fitter and Turner.

Competent computer skills (Email / MS Office).

5yrs+ previous working experience as a qualified Fitter and Turner or Machinist.

Maintain plant equipment by means of machining and mechanical work.

Manufacture of spare components.

Manufacture of tooling.

General milling and tooling.

General maintenance of hydraulic systems.

Precision turning of bronze bushing.

Thread cutting and machining of induction hard chrome shaft.

Internal machining of barrel tubing.

Accurate turning and milling of components.

Knowledge of mechanical repairs / hydraulic skills.

Machine alignment (chain / v-belt).
