SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Tactical Purchaser.

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

• Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
• Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Procure materials and services according to project needs and specifications.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and track procurement orders.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain up-to-date supplier and product databases.
