Tax Administrator and Junior Accountant

We have a position available for a Tax Administration & Junior Accountant in the Monument Park Area in Pretoria East. 

Requirements:

• Matric with Mathematics and Accounting (preference to degreed individuals)
• Strong Microsoft office skills (especially MS Word and MS Excel)
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Knowledge of Xero & Simplepay
• Basic understanding of VAT and Income tax
• Knowledge of Greatsoft tax module (very advantageous)
• Know how to file various SARS returns (IT14's, IT12's, EMP201, EMP501, Return of earnings, etc.)
• Filing of CIPC returns (advantageous)

Duties (not limited to):

• Assist with the administration of the tax process of the practice
• Responsible for the full accounting function (From obtaining monthly accounting docs, processing in Xero, reporting and dealing with client queries and requests)
• Probably 50% tax and 50% accounting (but the split might change according to our needs)
