Qualifications / Requirements:

• Diploma in Operations Management or be an appropriately Qualified Artisan (e.g Welder, Boilermaker)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, coupled with production flow line knowledge
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge and application of shop floor industrial relations and the ability to manage and control staff timekeeping and attendance
• Computer literate
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience of welding and welding processes highly advantageous
• MRP system knowledge highly advantageous
• Own reliable transport
• Willing to work ships and overtime when required

• Gathering, analysing and reporting of production information
• Complying with organizational standards
• Maintain 5S in responsible area
• Collating and recording daily production figures
