Team Leader in a Civils Department

SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Team Leader in there Civils Department in Zululand. To coordinate resources and activities to ensure the reliable functioning of all water, waste, civil infrastructures, and buildings.

POSITION INFO:

MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience with strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Driver’s license, preferably including heavy machinery code 10 or higher
• Qualification in a related trade such as brick laying, carpentry, plumbing, roofing, painting, electrical, etc.
• Construction Management or Project Management experience/qualification
• Experience compiling and controlling project/maintenance costs.
• Water treatment or industrial operations experience
• Conversant with MAXIMO, or other CMMS systems
• Knowledge of Food Safety, Construction Regulations and/or General Safety Regulations

Key Performance Areas

• Respond to Civils work requests/complaints to assess the urgency and priority; and to determine the scope of work required.
• To manage the collection and disposal of specified waste streams
• To monitor water usage and report any deviations and exceptions indicating waste or loss.
• To maintain and improve the parks and gardens of the factory, villages and surrounds through effective contract and contractor management
