Technical Assistant/Junior Engineer

Are you a proactive technical assistant or junior engineer looking to support engineering processes and drive efficiency? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team, providing essential technical and administrative assistance to our General Manager. This role is ideal for a technically adept individual passionate about process improvement and project coordination within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support

   • Assist engineers and maintenance teams with process research, design, and development.
   • Conduct basic analysis, identify process trends, and solve technical issues.
   • Contribute to product and system advancement through testing and experimentation.

2. Process Improvement

   • Identify areas for operational improvements and support implementation.
   • Maintain accurate records of changes and results in engineering processes.

3. Administrative Support

   • Manage scheduling, communications, and document preparation for the GM.
   • Organize and maintain technical records, including blueprints and project files.

4. Project Coordination

   • Track project timelines, coordinate resources, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Inventory & Resource Management

   • Monitor technical inventory and manage purchasing needs.

6. Health, Safety, & Quality Compliance

   • Uphold health, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge, problem-solving, project management, fault-finding, and excellent communication.

Competencies:

• Sound understanding of technical drawings and fault-finding.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
• High attention to detail and emotional intelligence.
