Technical Customer Service Advisor

SUMMARY:
Join an International Manufacturing company where growth and skills development are fostered. Provide administrative sales and technical support for services and workshop repairs, ensuring the smooth operation of the Service Centre at an innovative organization. You will assist field service and workshop technicians while building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

POSITION INFO:

Provide administrative support, including records management, correspondence, and coordination for the Service Centre
Monitor equipment functionality, workshop tools, and the loan fleet
Manage stores for parts and kits required for repairs, both locally and internationally
Maintain records and databases in line with systems and respond to enquiries
Handle sales responsibilities such as counter sales, service quotations, and purchase orders
Ensure cleanliness in the Service Centre and provide administrative support for field services
Prepare forecasts, reports, and follow procedures to ensure smooth operations
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an engineering or technical workshop environment, with a strong understanding of industry practices
Proven experience in project environment
Experience with designing and maintain rotating equipment
Proven experience in planning and managing service centre operations, ensuring efficient service delivery
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reporting
Strong people management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with customers
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, maintaining high standards
Experience in customer-facing roles, focused on delivering excellent service and resolving issues effectively
 
Qualification:
BTech/Ndip/N6 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a strong background in service and operations environment
Trade Test Millwright
