SUMMARY:
A dynamic organization based in Vereeniging is looking to employ an Estimator with 3 – 5 years’ experience working in a technical environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Matric
Valid driver’s license, own vehicle or reliable transport
3 – 5 years’ experience essential
Proficiency in mathematics, statistics and data analysis
Working knowledge of projects / project management (highly advantageous)
Strong numeracy and analytical background
Must come from the Mining or Construction Industry
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, Primevera & PowerPoint
Candidate must be willing to travel to various sites
Estimating the work of particular projects
Analyzing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs on projects
Formulate tenders with accurate and well-prepared applications for submission to clients and potential clients timeously
Liaise with relevant team members and other divisions to get their inputs for the pricing of the project
Compilation of tender calculations/project budgets with a high degree of accuracy incorporating all external and internal resources
Ensure the effective execution of projects through efficient and effective use of planning and scheduling of resources.
Keep a live update of the whereabouts and condition of all resources
Keep a live schedule of past, current and future projects
Ensure all planning detail of each project is communicated
