Technical Key Accounts Sales Rep - Steel

Our International Client with their very well-established product base requires an independent and systematic Sales Rep to manage Key Accounts and drive new business requirements.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric/ Gr 12 / NTC 3
• Previous selling experience of consumable products to industrial ( steel) Markets essential.
• Likeable personality with Good communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Formal Sales Training or qualification is a distinct advantage
• Computer literacy – MS Office and report writing skills
• The ability to communicate with clients on all levels
• Valid driver’s license – company car is supplied

• Weekly servicing of existing customers and building long term relationships
• Cold Calling for new business
• Meeting customer needs and specific requirements
• Maintain and develop customer relationships
• Resolve customer queries by investigating query, developing solution and making recommendations
• Quotations and closing of sales
• Meeting sales targets and negotiating of pricing and costings
• Negotiate pricing and costings and promote new products and special deals
• Advising customers about after sales service
• Giving feedback on sales trends and competitor activities
• Attending weekly sales meetings and completing daily reports
• Representing company at Trade shows and customers workshops for launching new products
• Create call cycle and weekly report
• General administration duties
• Managing stock requirements
